BioWare Announces New Role-Playing Game

Game Features Epic Fantasy Storyline and Innovative Combat System

Redwood City, Calif. - November 3, 2009 - BioWare™, a division of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: ERTS), today announced that Dragon Age: Origins™, the highly anticipated role-playing game (RPG), is now available in North America for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system, PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system, and PC.

Dragon Age: Origins is a single-player third-person high-fantasy RPG developed by BioWare, the same studio that created the award-winning Mass Effect™ and Baldur's Gate™ franchises.

In Dragon Age: Origins, players take on the role of a Grey Warden, one of the last of a legendary order of guardians who stand against the return of mankind's ancient foe, the darkspawn. With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, players must lead a heroic band of companions on a desperate quest to unite the shattered lands of Thedas and defeat the ultimate evil.
